Getting Traffic is tough but These tips can give u a hand while dealing with web pages

UNIQUE CONTENT : Content is heart of any Website.

  1. IF your content is unique,valuable and good world will follow you.
  2. Search Engines Loves unique content ->Unique Content beats all* bookmarking,publicity etc

TEMPLATE : Template is body of any webpage ->Mess with HTML

  1. Use description meta tags in b/w <head> HERE ! </head>
  2. For Images always use descriptive names like leonardo01.jpg instead of pic01.jpg also use alternate tag alt for Images ->alt=”harry_potter”
  3. Put your Page simple and elegant with less outgoing links as it may turn off any new user.
  4. Use good colour templates and always remember the colour codes in Hex as it may help when u embed Ads or other applications in that page i would prefer white.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION : SEO is for getting attention from Search engines

  1. As discussed if your content is unique u get higher rankings from you counterparts who copied you.Follow White hat SEO raher than Black hat which is short term (some cases)
  2. Backlinks is most important for SEO more websites pointing to your domain more important you become so try building links to ur website on Forums,Social Bookmarking Websites(do-follow) preferred over no-follow.More the backlinks better Page Rank you can expect from search engines.

  4. Check before posting for Tags,keywords,search result of Google for any post.You can try Google Adwords tool also for searching search volume etc.
  5. Avoid link farms,reciprocal Link exchange(can be good if related websites)

Advertising on newspaper
  2. Free Advertising :This will be most of interest to all u can advertise on your assets pens,pencils office stationary for your office ,A4 papers,Your business Cards,Yellow Pages,Free Online Directories(Blogflux,BLogcatalog,Myweblog),Social Networking Websites like myspace,Orkut.Add facility for any user to directly mail or bookmark your content with easy buttons.
